This post marks the beginning of KATC's coverage of the Zoom Kobe II Media Summit, and, the upcoming Zoom Kobe II trio of kix. As part of the upcoming Zoom Kobe II trio, Nike is set to release the Zoom Kobe Strength, a ZKII model that brings with it increased support, via the dual strap system, and increased durabililty over the Zoom Kobe II Sheath. The Zoom Kobe II Strength was designed with crunch time in mind, a time when a ball player needs to show the tough part of their game by locking down a key opponent, or, rise to the occasion in the late 4th quarter. The Zoom Kobe II Strength is set to release during May of 2007 at a retail of $140.

I do not dig the kix, I think it is because they really do not have
an identity. Nothing says Kobe to me. They say nike b-ball shoe.

Kobe Bryant changed his jersey number to 24 because he wore that number at Lower Merion HS when he led his team to great distances. I must agree that the logo is sick but the sneakers are ill....in the bad way.
