Following up on our initial post, we take an in depth look at the 1WOLRD “Air ?uesto” ?uestlove x Nike Air Force 1 Low. Designed by ?uestlove of the Roots, DJ, and producer, the “Air ?uesto” features a mix of Burgundy leather/Red canvas/Green Elephant print and a Gold Swoosh. For an even more personal ?uestlove hit, ?uest added a lasered silhouette of his face at the heel. According to ?uestlove:
“These Air Questo’s right here are an extension of my personality. Kind of all-over-the-place” said ?uest Love. “I just wanted to start off with a very loud statement, a sneaker that sort of has 12 exclamation points behind it. Something that just screams “Rahhhhrr” so you know, this is an extension of my personality. The inside (of the shoe) is of me drumming. Yeah, inside art is very important to me. Even though you’re the only person that sees it from a consumer standpoint but, I sorta know you put a lot of work into it as a designer based on how your shoe is designed on the sole.”
The “Air ?uesto” ?uestlove Nike Air Force 1 is set to release at:
Alife—New York [August 1st]
Ubiq—Philadelphia [August 5th]
Nike Sportswear at The Montalban—Los Angeles [August 6th]
and select Nike retailers on August 16th.
