The Official Grand Unveiling: The Air Jordan Retro VIII Aqua

Perhaps the most anticipated OG retro since the "Grape" V, the Air Jordan Retro VIII "Aquas" are set for a general release on Sept. 22 at a retail of $140. Very true to the original "Aqua" VIII released in 1993, the Retro "Aquas" feature a Black Nubuck upper, a Grey Nubuck heel (a darker shade of Grey than the OG), the trademark VIII cross strap and "carpet tongue", and an Aqua/Concord/Black midsole.

The grey nubuck is a little darker (from these pics), but they may actually be that same shade. --Anyway, how many retros are ALWAYS 110% "true" to the OG? Most aren't remotely close to being EXACT, so what's everyone complaining for? lol

its about time i see some real ish from jordan besides fire red & cool grey III's & black V's. this is one of the best releases of 07'.
but looking at these for a few mins. the og's look a little better than this. the og's have more of the aqua colored design covering the side of the shoe more. did JB get lazy and didnt want to make it more true to the OG colorway. either way they are nice and i will be getting a pair.

these are hard! but the graffiti gut red and black blow these out the water also the clownz that did the low tops need to stop actin innoavational with the og in color scheme and cut. they dumbin down retro's and not makin them durable and color vintage quality.
also the og aqua had a grey metalic side not that gaudy glossy aqua they added all & all they are a go if you dident have them in those onyx days.
YAH PROBABLY THIS IS THE SAME WITH THE OG HENCE THE MATERIALS THAT THEY GONNA USED SUCKS AGAIN !!!! HMMM... IT'S A SHAME...

The Only Difference is the bottom. Air-jordans.com The color combo is slightly different on the bottom. And the grey leading toward the back of the sneaker is a little bit darker then the OG
