Vans and Stussy are coming together once again and they are celebrating the Year of the Snake with the Vans Sk8-Hi x Stussy “Year of the Snake”. Putting their “YOTS” spin on the venerable OG skate model, Stussy dipped the Vans Sk8 Hi in a sneaker textured White and Black nubuck upper with a Red Jazz Stripe, a double “S” hit on the tongue made of snakes, a White midsole with a snake graphic, and a “Year of the Snake” hit in the Stussy font on the heel. No word on an exact release date for the Vans Sk8-Hi x Stussy “Year of the Snake” but we should see them hit retailers this Spring. Check out more below.
Vans has released a couple of camo flavored offerings this Fall and they are back with another one with the Vans Chukka Boot “Floral Camo”. While most camo approaches take their inspiration from the Armed Forces, the Vans Chukka Boot “Floral Camo” goes a different way by taking using a floral print in Olive tones to make up the camo print on the canvas body. The rest of the sneaker is done in Brown leather on the eyestay and Black nubuck on the toe. The upper sits on a White and Black midsole and a Gum outsole. The Vans Chukka Boot “Floral Camo” is available now at select Vans retailers. Check out more below.
Hong Kong based brand CLOT and Vans have teamed up to bring us a Vans x CLOT Collection which includes three new colorways of the Era and a Classic Slip-on. The collection incorporates “Tribesmen” theme based off Tibetan patterns in a lively mixture of colors. The Vans x CLOT collection features the “Tribesmen” themed woven embroidery on the heel and tongue of the Era models sitting on two toned vulcanized midsole. The Classic Slip-on places the woven embroidered theme more visibly on the toebox. The Vans x CLOT collection will release exclusively at Hong Kong retailer JUICE December 7, 2012 and a larger regional release at JUICE December 21.
