As the NBA season is winding down, Kobe Byrant and Nike are preparing for the playoffs and Kobe's mission to acquire his 5th chip. During his run to the NBA Championship, Kobe will rock and Nike will release the Playoff Pack Nike Zoom Kobe V. The POP Nike Zoom Kobe V is a flip on the first Carpe Diem/Away Nike Zoom Kobe V and features a Black based upper with Yellow and Purple accents. Instead of the reptilian texture that pops up on many of the Nike Zoom Kobe Vs, the POP Nike Zoom Kobe V features Nike's POP print for this year which is a print made of small triangles that come together to make one larger cohesive print. Nike Zoom Kobe V (5) Duke Inspired

With Selection Sunday only a couple of days away, and with Duke eying a #1 seed in the tournament, Nike is set to release their Duke inspired Nike Zoom Kobe V this weekend. The Duke inspired Nike Zoom Kobe V features a combo upper of Metallic Blue and Black TPU, a Black heel counter, a Blue trim, a White midsole, and a translucent Blue outsole. If you watched last night's amazing Lakers vs. Heat game, which you should have, you probably noticed that Kobe broke out the Black/White/Del Sol Nike Zoom Kobe V on his way to another monster game. The Black/White/Del Sol Nike Zoom Kobe V features a predominantly Black upper with a hit of White at the heel counter that runs through the midsole. The sneaker also features hits of Del Sol on the Kobe logo, the trim on the White Swoosh, and the outsole. No confirmed release date as of now. Once I hear something, it will be posted.
