Nike Sportswear is ready for All Star with their “Constellation” collection.
Despite having moved onto to work with adidas, Kanye West’s “Red October” Nike Air Yeezy 2 buzz is still very high and Nike is looking to capitalize on their past relationship with Kanye with the upcoming Nike Dunk High “Red October” moving beyond the all Red inspiration that we’ve seen lately, the “Red October” Dunk High takes a more literal approach to the Yeezy 2 design featuring the same nubuck and mesh material use and blocking, the full Red upper, the gold lace tips, and the rubber spiked heel. Adding to the Nike Dunk High CMFT “Black Reptile” that we just looked at, Nike has a Red option on deck with the Nike Dunk High CMFT “Red Reptile”. Like the Black colorway, the sneaker features a mix of nubuck and reptile textured leather done in University Red and White. Nike has given their new and improved Dunk High CMFT the premium touch once again with the recently released Nike Dunk High CMFT “Black Reptile”. Going simple on the colorway, the sneaker features a two time mix of Black and White. The story here is more the material mix which features a combination of nubuck and reptile textured leather. Look for these now at select Nike retailers. Retail price is $120.
Nike is paying tribute to 90s era fashion with their Nike Dunk High “90s Sweater”. Somewhere in between a Coogi and a Gucci, the “90s Sweater” Dunk features a mix of Black ostrich textured leather and a sweater knit design done in Black, Flat Gold, Hyper Red, and Gorge Green. The silhouette itself has also been retooled to be in line with Nike’s CMFT series and it features a Nike Zoom Air unit in the heel. Release date is set for 12/13 at a retail price of $120 at select Nike retailers including Nike.com.
With the Nike Air Force 1 getting the “CMFT” treatment a couple of years back, it is only right that the venerable Nike Dunk gets the Y2K comfort upgrade as well. The Nike Dunk CMFT retains everything that you’d expect from the classic sneaker with the additional upgrade of Nike Zoom Air in the midsole. As part of their lineup of the 2014 Dunk, Nike is set to release the “Snakeskin” version which features a very aggressive mix of snakeskin, cracked Black leather, a large Metallic Silver Swoosh, and a threaded trim.
