Dwyane Wade Rocks Black/Red Air Jordan Retro XI for NBA Media Day
The NBA's Media Day took place yesterday with players from all teams posing for official pictures for the upcoming season while treating the media to sound bytes for the upcoming season. Dwyane Wade took the opportunity to show off his new partnership with Jordan Brand in style by rocking the Black/Red Air Jordan Retro XI. If this is a taste of what's to come from Jordan Brand and D. Wade, we might be in for something serious.

Air Jordan Retro XI (11) Space Jam GS Plus More Space Jam Info
Traditionally, one of the better ways to determine how limited a sneaker will be is to figure out whether or not the sneaker is going to come in sizes smaller than adult's sizes. The upcoming Air Jordan Retro XI Space Jam, is set to release in GS and below, all the way down to TD/GP sizes. With that being said, the Space Jams WILL be available in your mall spots as well. Now will all of that being said, stronger sneaker geographic locations, such as major cities, will be allocated more Space Jams than spots that aren't typically strong. Coupled with the fact that demand is very high, the Space Jams will seem much more limited than they are. At the end of the day, they are going to be released in GR fashion, maybe not GR numbers (obviously you won't see as many Space Jams as White/White AF1s), but in GR fashion.
The GS Air Jordan Retro XI Space Jam features the normal alterations that you'd expect from a GS Jordan though on the whole, it looks pretty good. If you have small feet, are a girl, or are looking to cop for a young one, you will be taken care of.

Air Jordan Retro XI Space Jam OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE
If you've noticed, we never posted a release date for the Air Jordan Retro XI Space Jams in any of the Space Jam posts. Truth be told, while all of the other sites were talking about some release date in November, we knew the release date was in December. We actually knew this for a long time but didn't post it because the actual day of release was still going back and forth between a couple of days in December. So rather than mislead anyone, we waited for the official word.
Now we can say that the official release date for the Space Jam Air Jordan Retro XI is DECEMBER 24th, 2009, though you are obviously more than likely to see them on shelves earlier that week. Retail will be $175.

Air Jordan Retro XI (11) Space Jam Packaging
Priced at $175 retail, the Air Jordan Retro XI Space Jam is set to debut a new Jordan Brand box and sneaker inserts. The Space Jam XI box features a slide out design similar to the Air Jordan Fusion/Air Jordan 60+ DMP Pack packaging with a Varsity Blue plastic "XI" overlay. The sneaker inserts feature a Metallic Blue finish and the exterior of the box features an embossed "23" and the "Jumpman Jordan" graphic.
