Reebok is dropping a new colorway of the Reebok Pump Omni Lite to commemorate Dee Brown’s memorable 1991 Slam Dunk contest championship this All-Star Game weekend. Designed to combine the OG Reebok Pump that Dee pumped before his win and the Boston Celtics franchise that he represented, the 1991 Slam Dunk Reebok Pump Omni Lite features a Black upper with Green and White accents. The tongue of the sneaker features the front and back of Dee Brown’s Celtic’s jersey, the ankle collar features a picture of the old Boston Garden, the sockliner features a picture of the parquee basketball court with the number and team of each of the final 4 players that Dee beat in thecontest – their numbers start at the baseline and at the top of the foul line, Dee’s is #7, and finally, the half circle above the foul line turns into a crown and above that it says “Slam Dunk Champion”.
360 pairs of the sneaker are set to release exclusively at Shiekh’s Arizona Mills Location (5000 Arizona Mills Circle #158, Tempe, AZ 85282) on February 14th with an in-store appearance from Dee Brown at the release.
