adidas Basketball Black History Month Collection

adidas Basketball has officially unveiled their Black History Month Collection which features Kareem Abdul-Jabbar inspired makeups of the adidas D Rose 5 Boost, the adidas D Lillard 1, the adidas J Wall 1, and the adidas Crazy 8. adidas athletes will debut the collection during the Martin Luther King Jr. Day games and wear them in select games throughout February to celebrate Black History Month and honor African-American role models like Kareem. A portion of the proceeds from the Black History Month Collection will be donated to Kareem’s Sky Hook Foundation, which improves the lives of underprivileged youth. The collection will be available at adidas.com with the Crazy 8 ($110) launching January 23, J Wall 1 ($115) and D Rose 5 Boost ($140) on January 30 and D Lillard ($105) on February 6.

Air Jordan 11 Retro Low Black Red – New Detailed Picture

By the looks of this new detailed picture, the upcoming Air Jordan 11 Retro Low “Black/Red”, or “Bred”, is going to have a twist. Taking it back to the OG samples that we have seen over the years, this new picture shows a Red lining on the sneaker as opposed to the Black lining on the Mid. Nike’s ongoing tribute to Bo Jackson and his classic Nike Air Trainer line of sneakers will continue this year with the Nike Air Trainer SC II Low “Medicine Ball”. Bringing the palette over from the original Nike Air Trainer 3, the “Medicine Ball” SC Trainer II Low features a mix of White, Midnight Navy, Ginger, and Light Bone with a blocking and design inspired by the OG. The Nike KD7 is set to continue the Aunt Pearl legacy as we have our first look at the Nike KD7 “Aunt Pearl”. Inspired by and dedicated to Kevin Durant’s late aunt, the sneaker features a winged midfoot strap, the breast cancer awareness/Kay Yow logo on the heel tab, and a White, Gold, and Pink colorway.
