Original Cool Grey Air Jordan XI Salesman Sample

For the first time since the infamous Defining Moments Package, Jordan Brand is set to release a true Air Jordan XI Mid as part of the Air Jordan 11/12 Countdown Package. As expected, with just the mention of an Air Jordan XI, the sneaker community has gone wild with anticipation for the package. Eight years ago, the sneaker community went wild for another Air Jordan XI, the now infamous Cool Grey Air Jordan XI. Though not an OG colorway of the Air Jordan XI, it didn't matter much as their a 100s of stories of mayhem across the US on release day. A couple of month's back, we ran into an original Salesman Sample of the Cool Grey Air Jordan XI (from 2000 for the 2000 release of the CG XI), and, it brought back memories.

So that means that the bred XI won't be part of the Dec countdown pack? WTF?
I think he's just saying the CDP made him think of these pictures, not that they're going to be in the CDP. I can see how you'd get confused though.

those didnt drop in 2000 b/c the xvis dropped in 2000 and i got these the year after i graduated and that was in 2000
these came out in march of 2001 and yeah, they were pretty dope! that being said..i still like my space jamz better and the bred xi better be hot!!!!

ddarc, you my man, are trippin balls. hype or no hype. these can never be the ugliest xi's ever. do you not remember the run of jordan xi ie retros?? and any mid xi should never ever be considered ugly. its a beautiful shoe.
I'm not a big fan of the cool grey...the only cool grey's I have is the 3's...I love 3's! Wifey is beasting for the cool grey 9's in a sz. 4 or 4.5... Holla at me if you have them or know where I can get them, but uh I love the space Jam and the all-star all white and blue joints better!
My favorite sneaker of all time. Mines are all beat down, but I rock like I just copped last Saturday.
