The third overall pick in last night’s 2008 NBA Draft, OJ Mayo, has officially signed with Nike. The terms of the contract have not yet been revealed, but sources close to the situation have reported that there were a number of brands looking to sign Mayo and some brands were offering more money if Mayo had been drafted by a big market team. Mayo will
play in Minnesota Memphis next year, as of right now. Mayo is represented by Maverick Carter, of LeBron James’ LRMR Markering.
As of the time of this post there are no confirmed signing for the first two draft picks, Derrick Rose and Michael Beasley.
