OJ Mayo Signs with Nike

The third overall pick in last night's 2008 NBA Draft, OJ Mayo, has officially signed with Nike. The terms of the contract have not yet been revealed, but sources close to the situation have reported that there were a number of brands looking to sign Mayo and some brands were offering more money if Mayo had been drafted by a big market team. Mayo will play in Minnesota Memphis next year, as of right now. Mayo is represented by Maverick Carter, of LeBron James' LRMR Markering.
As of the time of this post there are no confirmed signing for the first two draft picks, Derrick Rose and Michael Beasley.

Mayo got traded to Memphis early this morning/late last night....
Wack. Fu*k some Air Sharkleys, honestly. But smart move "Ovinton J'Anthony Mayo" -- LOL!
And I have a feeling Rose will sign with Adidas, after playing for an Adidas school, in Memphis... Beasley, will probably join Nike as well.

Oh word? If so, that's a good move as well. Seems like he'd fit in, in both though. I'd like to see what happens over time with OJ though, as far as whether he'll remain at Nike or join Team Jordan... It's very possible.
