Nike Zoom Kobe V (5) Lakers Away

We've already taken a look at the upcoming Chaos Nike Zoom Kobe V and now, we'll take a look at a much more subdued and traditional colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe V, the Lakers Away Nike Zoom Kobe V. The Lakers Away Nike Zoom Kobe V features a Black based upper with a Black toebox, Flywire panel, and heel wrap. The ankle, eyestay, and front toe wrap are done in Purple with a Purple snakeprint on the eyestay/toewrap. The Swoosh is done in Gold which links up to the heel. The package is tied together with Black/Yellow braided laces. Kobe rocked this colorway of the [Nike Zoom Kobe V when he played 'Melo in the 2K Sports event].
No official release date yet for the Lakers Away Nike Zoom Kobe V. Once I hear something, it will be posted.

hhmmmmm, maybe im trippin but either somebody was wearin these already, or these boys already has creases in them? i got the 4's and they still dont have any creases in them joints. i hoping these dont fall apart all easy!
I was gonna say the same thing. It's not just the back black part but even the purple part is crumpled, WTF!!
Maybe they're a test version and have had some serious game time??

Guys, it's an embossed croco leather, it's not creased.
Fam he is they r talking about the sole, not the croco leather, take a closer look.

not so sure abou the embossed croco texture, at least its not too dominant.
these are ok...is this the cw he rocked at the 2k10 event...it looks like it i think?? not bad..still like the kobiv better..loading up on the kbiv and calling it a day!
This is the best colorway I've seen in these so far. I really like these ones.

I like these for the purple and gold and nice design, but the gold heel is too much.
The purple strip along the lacing now reminds me of how adidas uses their power web technology onto their compression apparel. Nike's incorporation on this model of Kobe's looks to be a form of performance enhancing technology (with adidas inspiration). I've read that these look like "electrical tape" and "candy wrappers." At least Tinker Hatfield isn't "tinkering" with "Brand" Kobe. (pun intended. AJ2010=WOAT {(worst of all time)}
