Nike Zoom Kobe IV Draft Day | New Pics

With his 4th championship under his belt, Kobe Bryant has come a long way since he was first drafted by the Charlotte Hornets with the 13th pick in the 1996 NBA Draft. On the same day that Kobe was drafted, LA sent Charlotte Vlade Divac in exchange for the 17yr old Bryant. A trade that has to go down as one of the best in the history of the sport (even though it "HAD" to happen).
In a nod to Kobe's draft team, Nike is set to release a Charlotte Hornets colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV. The Hornets Nike Zoom Kobe IV features a White honeycomb textured upper with Teal and Purple accents and the date 6.11.96 on the heel tab. The Draft Day/Hornets Nike Zoom Kobe IV is scheduled to release in July. Read on for more.
