Nike Zoom Kobe Bryant IV (4) Philly
Jun 09, 2009 | Comments 6 |

Though many like to associate Kobe Bryant with Italy and his European upbriging because of it's "sexiness" and culture, Kobe Bryant was born in good ol' Philly, the City of Brothery Love. The son of former Philadelphia 76er Joe "Jelly Bean" Bryant, Kobe Bryant stayed in Philly for three years before moving to Europe when his father went overseas to play Basketball. Of course, Kobe later returned to Philly to play for Lower Merion High School where is legend was born.
To pay tribute to Kobe's birthplace, Nike designed the "Philly" Nike Zoom Kobe IV. The Philly Nike ZKIV features a patriotic upper of Red, White, and Blue with reflective stars around the ankle collar. The footbed features Kobe's a "8-23-78" graphic of Kobe's birthday and the star pattern as well.
A release date has not been confirmed for the Philly Nike Zoom Kobe IV, but, we would expect them to drop around Kobe's birthday.

hot shoe but like the all star....cant see myself rock an all blue shoe!!! that being said..these are on id...why so many colorways..i agree ....ODing this shoe like the bron line..that being said what i do want...a finals road shoe like the 61 in game 1..an all black PL would be dope..purple swoosh would be cool!!! i am thinking rice roads that dropped but black purple with some extras to jazz it up!!!
Very patriotic. The three unreleased colorways that are worth a cop are the 61pts finals, the gold medal olympic, and these phillies.
