Last weekend Nike, Jordan Brand, Converse, and USA Basketball took over Washington D.C. as part of the World Basketball Festival. The World Basketball Festival spanned across three days and several locations around the D.C. area and it served as an immersive Basketball experience. From Barry Farms, to the D.C. Armory, to the Verizon Center, the World Basketball Festival gave attendees and invited media the opportunity to experience the best Basketball and Basketball related products that the world has to offer. The WBF features events that included a Team Nike vs. Team Goodman scrimmage at Barry Farms, a live Team USA practice at the D.C. Armory, several Basketball tournaments at the D.C. Armory, the Nike+ Dunk Contest, interactive Nike/Jordan Brand/Converse displays, the Converse Block Party, a Nike+ Basketball wear-test, and finally, Brazil vs. Team USA at the Verizon Center, which President Obama attended. All said, the World Basketball Festival was a truly amazing event and experience for everyone that attended.
