With the Dunk and the Terminator receiving Nike's vintage treatment, it was only a matter of time before Nike's first Basketball sneaker ever, the Nike Blazer High, follow suit. First released in 1973, the Nike Blazer Hi was Nike's first ever Basketball sneaker and the Swoosh's answer to the almighty Converse Chuck Taylor. The "Vintage" series of Nike Blazers features several Nike Blazer His in their original shape and materials with Nike's Vintage treatment on the pre-yellowed sole and tongue.

The Nike Blazer Hi Vintage Series is set to release during the Fall of 2009.

About the Author:

MaZe is the founder of KixandtheCity.com. He has been rocking fresh sneakers since his teenage years in the early 90's. Now, his collection tallies somewhere near 500 pairs and includes everything from GRs, to QSs, to TZs, to 1 of 1s, to PEs, to Friends and Familys, and anything, and everything in between. His favorite sneaker of all time is the Air Jordan VIII. Beyond loving the physical sneaker, MaZe loves the culture behind it. When MaZe is not in front of the PC working on KATC, he's probably copping kix and making moves.
