As we saw in my earlier post on these, Nike Sportswear and ?uestlove have linked up once again. This time, ?uest and Nike have turned to the Nike Dunk. The ?uestlove x Nike Dunk High Collection features three colorways of the Nike Dunk that have each been tweaked a bit. The Red colorway features a lace shroud that covers the laces. The Yellow and Black colorways feature the large Swoosh that you would typically find on the Nike Blazer. As the story goes:
“?uestlove draws from the favorite sitcoms of his youth and interprets their story lines through design. Hinting to an episode that is forever etched in ?uestlove’s mind, a character is presented with an all too human conflict, impressing a girl with style, but the outcome goes horribly awry. The character pleads for an expensive shirt from his parents, but when he is denied, a sibling offers to make a replica that is in the end far from perfect.”
The ?uestlove x Nike Sporstwear Dunk High Collection is set to release on March 4th at select Nike accounts including 21 Mercer, select NikeTowns, and select House of Hoops locations.
