Nike Huarache 09 Tony Parker PE

Nike Huarache 09 Tony Parker PE

As we mentioned in our lengthy [Nike 2009 Considered footwear post], Nike is set to continue their legendary Basketball Huarache line in 2009 with the Nike Huarache 09 BBall. Unlike any past Nike Huarache, and unlike many of Nike's current Basketball footwear line, the Nike Huarache 09 BBall will adhere to Nike's Considered Design Principles. This means that the Huarache is more environmentally friendly.

As part of their professional Huarache push, Nike, as always, will create several PE versions of the Huarache. Tony Parker is set to receive his own PE which features a San Antonio away colorway of Black and Grey. Parker's "TP" initials are emblazoned on the outer ankle and his number 9 on the inner.

The Nike Huarache 09 Basketball is set to release during the Spring of 2009 and we can assume that the PE styles will hit HOH stores around the country.

nice looking shoe. and devilboy's right... it kinda also reminds me of the jordan 7. one question though... if this is truly adhering to nike's considered design approach, then shouldn't it have more stitching than glued on parts? most considered shoes i've seen have their mid/out soles stitched or partially stitched instead of glued on all over as this obviously is. but i guess there are different permutations of the considered design approach that i don't know about... in any case, it's still a nice looking shoe.
