Nike Cancels the Nike Zoom Vick V

Amidst mounting allegations of his involvement in sponsoring a Dog Fighting Ring, Nike has cancelled the release of the upcoming Nike Zoom Vick V. Originally scheduled to release in August, the Vick V along with commercials/documentaries showcasing Micheal Vick are cancelled indefinitely. Nike released a statement stating that the company, "is concerned by the serious and highly disturbing allegations made against Michael Vick, and we consider any cruelty to animals inhumane and abhorrent. We do believe that Michael Vick should be afforded the same due process as any citizen; therefore, we have not terminated our relationship." Nike, at least at this point, has not terminated their contract with the three time Pro-Bowler.

the shoes were not the best. but Vick is my boy. his shoe shouldnt be canceled because of somethin his cousin addmits Vick has so action in. it is crazy that athletes get put under the microscope for every little thing.
I did not hear guilty. There are many reason for people to go after a young black athlete. People always rush to judgement without knowing all the facts. We can act like race dont matter in this counrty, but we will always be divided. Based on a history that said black people(hispanic and west indan) were less than human. There are many rich black athletes in this country. When something like this happens the powers that be want to make it one less rich Ni**er. F**K nike
They were the ugliest of the Vick series, to this point, but come on now... to CANCEL the release is idiotic in my mind. Like Keith Murray says: "**** the system!" There is ALWAYS someone behind a desk, trying to keep a black man in the spotlight for negative **** that he may not have even taken part in. Some of these allegations are BEYOND crazy -- hanging dogs, drowning dogs, slamming them on the ground and killing them? Let's be serious... then the fact that Nike acts like THEY are so innocent is DUMB as well. They have sweatshops, where workers RARELY even make ONE DOLLAR in a weeks worth of work.

People... Our country is screwed when we start overlooking alledge criminal activity for the sake of SPORTS! This is not racial, its stupidity. I say as a black male, **** Vick. He is not good QB, professional, leader or role model. He's nothing more than a Hood Rat with blazing SPEED period! Thats it! Stats speaks for themself... The higest paid QB who's constanly ranked in the bottom half in performance, and 1st as a DUMMY with poor judgment.
