Jan 20, 2009 | Comments 3 |

2008 was a painful year for Ohio State University Buckeyes fans. Coming into the year ranked #2 in the country, OSU dropped to #9 by the end of the season. With the start of the 2009 season already on the minds of the OSU faithful, Nike is set to drop an OSU Nike Blazer for the kick-off to the 2009 season. Part of Nike's College Football Helmet Pack, a pack that includes the [Michigan Wolverines Nike Vandal], the OSU Nike Blazer features a Metallic Grey upper, a White patent Swoosh, and a Red sole. Like the OSU helmets, the OSU Nike Blazer features circular logos that represent the coveted Buckeye Leaf stickers.
The Ohio State University, or, OSU Nike Blazer is set to release during the Fall/Winter of 2009.

Nike dropped the ball with these. If they would have put the Buckeye (aka the weed leaf) on the back of these like the actual helmet, this would have been a classic.
Yeah. This was a horrible attempt at an OSU helmet.
At least go all out if you're going to do it. The skull & bones is wack.
I like the idea of this series though. The Michigan joints were nice. Still need more pics.
