Nike Blazer 2K9 Combines the Nike Blazer and the Nike Huarache 2K4
Oct 06, 2008 | Comments 6

After over 30 years in the game, the Nike Blazer, Nike's first basketball sneaker, is getting a modern day overhaul. The Nike Blazer, the Basketball sneaker that started it all for Nike and was positioned as the "Chuck Killer", is stepping out of the 1970s and into the new millennium with an updated and upgraded upper, and most importantly, a "new" outsole taken from the the modern day Basketball marvel, the Nike Huarache 2K4. The Nike Blazer 2K9 retains the overall look and feel of the Nike Blazer with it's smooth round toe cap and large Swoosh.
The Nike Blazer 2K9 is set to release during the Summer of 2009.

these are pretty dope. I'd rock these to play ball in.
Not a bad looking combo -- not to mention at $90 you get that superb 2k4 midsole which should make this shoe a true performer.
At a $90 price point, I doubt it will have the same zoom unit as the 2k4. If so, the shoe is a steal, but I'd expect it to be more like that knock off version of the 2k4, with a air unit in the heel.
best 09 pictures yet and those 09 tony parkers are nice too!
ill be in iraq but ill have them
no zoom unit makes these more like the air total package rather than 2k4.
