Nike has celebrated the legacy of their classic trainer line this year and last year by bringing out fresh new training specific styles that are built on the heritage laid out by the original Bo Jackson Trainer series. The new styles include the Nike Trainer 1 and the Nike SC Trainer 2010. Later this year though, Nike is taking the Trainer line in a completely different direction with the Nike Auto Force Trainer. Instead of building a new training performance sneaker, Nike is taking the upper look from the Trainer line and combining that with an AC outsole to create the Auto Force Trainer. In the same vain of the Auto Force 180 and the Auto Flight, the Auto Force Trainer is a “casualized” performance sneaker that gives the look and feel of the classic Trainer line on the casual autoclave outsole.
The Nike Auto Force Trainer is set to release later this year.
