Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) | Detailed Look

Nike Zoom LeBron VII Detailed Look

For the 7th year, Nike and LeBron James are set to release a signature Nike LeBron sneaker. After making it to the Easter Conference Finals in the VI, LeBron will have nothing on his mind other than the Chip in the VII. Technologically speaking, the Nike Air Max LeBron VII is a swift departure from the the Zoom LeBron 1-6. For the first time, the LeBron line will feature Nike's Air Max technology instead of the Nike Zoom technology. Also, the Nike Nike Air Max LeBron VII will be much lighter than any of LeBron's previous signatures. Usually, LeBron and Nike wait to release a lighter LeBron sig for the playoffs, this time, LeBron's sig will be light out of the gate.

Aesthetically the Nike Air Max LeBron VII, designed by Jason Petrie, features a clean performance Basketball silhouette with several hits of LeBron branding throughout.

The Nike Air Max LeBron VII is set to release during the Fall of 2010. Read on for more.

Not bad. I just they do one more Foamposite Lebron shoe before it's all said and done. The IV's were greatness.

  2. ZKIV says:

Still looks like a boot! LOL

  3. Delve says:

WOW!!! I'm feelin' these! Dope, clean lines -- look forward to seeing what they do with different colorways...

And that huge air pocket is bananas!

  4. fghtrhthjhj says:

    those are hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. jr_lyon says:

I can't wait for these!!!!! These look so comfortable!!!!

  6. kenlu says:

    Fake Picture!!!

  7. DVLB0y says:

they shouldnt have used max air IMO..looks heavy

  8. tlova86 says:

These pics are fakes. the white and red colorway don't even have flywire, they have woven leather on top. If you wanna see the real pics goto nikelebron.net

    • KICKZyes says:

      WRONG!

The fake colorways have the woven leather on them.
THE REAL ONE (pictured above) have flywire.

      Try again!

  9. Born 2 Win says:

i like these a lot, finally a flywire shoe without that horrible lunar foam

  10. Evan says:

what separates these from any other nike team shoe besides the medial lebron logo......dissapointment

  11. Rick Kang says:

If these are fakes, gimme some fakes. The LeBron line had gone downhill since the IIIs (the IVs were okay but waaay too heavy). These are sweet as hell.

  12. Chris says:

Damn, look at all that air, straight playing on an air mattress

  13. TeamMike206 says:

Is it me or do these look/feel for like Kobe's than LeBron's....

  14. TeamMike206 says:

    more like*

  15. Lidu Al says:

these r cool, but look kinda heavy...

  16. 614 says:

Uh...I'm not as enthusiastic about sneakers as I used to be, but from past experiences, "official" pics in June are usually quite different from what we may/may not see in August/September.

As for the use of Air Max over Zoom Air...I prefer Zoom Air, but then again, I'm not 6'8" 260-something.

  17. Ziggy says:

Why do all, if not most, of Lebron's shoes look more like boots than ballin' shoes? Or is it just me? They better be mighty comfy for all that phugliness.

  18. Benny says:

Shoulda stayed with the VI, seriously. One of the best ballin shoes I've ever played in.. Comfortable, ankle support, heel support with the double stack, looked the ****** jamz.

I do play Hypermaxes now though and the max in those hold up very well..

    • KICKZyes says:

Why would he wear a signature shoe, that's numbered season after season?
I hope you mean "the same type of tech as the VI" because that comment was dumb!

  19. Me says:

    they look like throwback Griffeys

  20. Raffa22 says:

These are AMAZING! I have never bought any previous models of his shoes. I would buy these in a heart beat in this colorway! SOOOO good!

  21. MJSole says:

des is hot and all but for a signature shoe i don't know how much um feelin dem. kinda seem like a shoe dat could be a team shot or sum like dat. like a special nike shoe how the hyperdunks were.

  22. HyperdunkMan says:

I guarantee you these are NOT the finished product..so dont get too hyped.

  23. jay says:

they look like a jazzed up version of the bb 2...too me personally design aint bad but they look heavy...and i dont really rock heavy shoes..i am 5'7 and barely 145..ill stick with the zsiii if i rock brons!

  24. wrappedinstrings says:

To everyone who says this is hot is stupid...i hope this is just a sample or some type of test shoe...cuz this SUCKS!!!really tho...look at its design...stolen from several shoes...upper is partly AJXX3, then hyperdunk, then silhouette is uptempo air...very unoriginal, horrible design, and lacks that basketball shoe look...

  25. silentstare says:

LeBron's shoes always have a certain bulkiness to them and this one isn't an exception. Plus they remind me vaguely of the Griffey's air max that came out in the early 2000's. The sole design is plain but overall good work.

  26. LeBron Siron says:

    love em !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  27. Rizo says:

im glad nike followed up wit somethinf like these i cant wait to see the other colorways

  28. djh23 says:

though i like the look of these shoes, i think that the designer worried too much about the look of the shoe rather than the performance aspect of it. take the use of flywire for example, it is practically pointless as there is very little of it and the parts that should b covered with flywire are instead replace with leather with adds weight for example the nike swoosh on the inside of the shoe....why isn't there flywire there like on the outside of the shoe. and also if there is going to be an inner sock for the shoe why bother using leather to sustain the support of the shoe it makes the feet feel too hot when you are playing basketball. though haha i'll probably buy these shoes as i've played in every single lebron shoe and have played quite well. if this shoe is better than the 3's or the 6's then i will be amazed and as those are two of the best shoes i've ever played in, and i will have to extremely regret what i've just written. :P

  29. DVLB0y says:

Fakes?! i dont think KITC would post some fake S$%@#
