Continuing our coverage of Nike and LeBron's upcoming Nike Air Max LeBron VII, we take a look at the Black/White/Red Nike Air Max LeBron VII. An entirely new direction for the LeBron line, the AM LeBron VII features a full length Air Max sole unit, instead of Zoom, and a lightweight Flywire upper. The Black/White/Red Nike Air Max LeBron VII features a Black patent/Black leather upper, White Flywire, Red accents, and a Red Visible Air Unit.

Considering that these use Flywire instead of Foam, I can't imagine they'd be anywhere near as heavy
I can do without some of the detailing, but overall it's a nice shoe.
the white flywire is makeing the shoe look a little busy ...but I do like the design.....

the AZGs were pretty light and the IIs weren't that heavy either
at first glance it made me think of the hypermax. then it made me think of something like air jordan cause of the patent leather. it looks heavy even with the flywire. designers can do better.
I agree with mu$h the flywire gives it a busy look. Overall the shoe is great.

Don't Maxes tend to be heavier than Zooms anyway? I like these, though.
Nike cant make a mid top lightweight basketball shoe with an airbag underneath most of the sole. I'd expect these to weigh in the 16 -- 18.5 oz range (probably around 18). I know its got flywire but the sole and airbag will be so damn heavy.
Overall, I like the design except the criss-crossing of the flywire. It would've looked cleaner if the flywire ran in one direction.
Would also like to see some more likeable colorways.
lunar foam in the sole matched with flywire (e.g. kobe IVs) create an incredibly lightweight durable shoe.
the shoe gotta have some weight to it. we not talking about spud webb here. duh!
When I look at this shoe I always think about the Griffeys! Specially the VII
