Last year, Nike released the Big Apple Nike Zoom LeBron VI to mark LeBron’s first trip to The Garden during the 2009 season. This year, Nike went with a Yankees themed color up for LeBron’s trip to MSG, representing his (unusual considering where he is from) love for the New York Yankees. Although we didn’t get to see a Big Apple part 2, a Big Apple Nike Air Max LeBron VII was sampled up but never released. The Big Apple Nike Air Max LeBron VII features a Red patent and leather upper a Red and White speckled Swoosh, a Red speckled Visible Air Unit, and a clear and Red outsole. Adding a little more color to the Big Apple palette, the Big Apple Nike AML7 also features hits of Green at the upper eyelet, the speckling on the laces and Swoosh, and the LeBron logos.
Unfortunately, the Big Apple Nike Air Max LeBron VII will not hit retail but, we can enjoy more pics [HERE].
