There is no denying the fact that the retro styling of the slim vulcanized outsole and cup sole are very popular right now. A trend that started with early Basketball sneakers that included the Chuck Taylor, PF Flyers, the Nike Blazer, etc. the vulc/cup sole has reemerged once again and has taken over the street. On the flip side of that, the retro styling of old high top/bulky 80s/90s Basketball sneakers is also popular once again.
Combining both of these styles, Nike is set to marry the legacy of their first Basketball sneaker, the Nike Blazer, with the uppers from some of their classic 90s Basketball footwear. The products of this marriage are the Nike Air Force 180 x Nike Blazer and the Nike Air Flight Lite High x Nike Blazer. Both styles feature the upper from 180 or Flight Lite sitting on a Nike Blazer sole. As part of the releases from this line up, Nike is set to release the OG Olympic Air Force 180 colorway of the 180 Blazer and several other colorways as well. The Air Flight Lite Blazer is set to drop in a Smoked Grey nubuck colorway.
All of these kix are slated to release late 2009.

the black & white version looks a lot better. I still think this was terrible idea.
nike stop frankensteining classic shoes & just come out with some fresh innovative new designs.
What The ****!? Now Nike Fusions!? I SMH At You Nike...
This gets a big WTF?
what the hell is this ?????
Nike -- can I get a job designing sneakers ? Because it seems like whoever you guys have over there has lost all yearning to be inovative. These SUCK !!!
Why is Nike doing hybrids on shoes that were actually nice ? Why get rid of the air soles ???? Isn't that what Nike is known for ? Let supra and chucks deal with
The regular sole .NIKE IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE KNOWN FOR AIR SOLES !!!
wearing basketball shoes casually is out (few exceptions). flat vulcanized soles are still in. nike is capitalizing on it. i think it works, too.
PS. they better be much cheaper
I'm a true fan of the Nike Flight Lites and the Charles Barkley 180 Force but as soon as I saw these I was horribly disappointed in Nike. Straight garbage. That's okay I won't be buying these but I hope Nike Representatives, Merchandisers and Retail Executives are reading these opinions from their marketshare and realizing a trend here, Hybrids/Fusions are becoming a disgrace. Once after you look back at the yearly fiscal reviews and see sales plummeting maybe then you'll realize you F'd up. P.S. -- can you re retro the Jordan 6 Infared please? Thanks.
im a fan of most nike's hybrids, but these are shittttttttttttttttt.
Things are getting a liddle confusing...!!
(but hey, they could have made it the other way round...like AF 180 sole X Blazer upper...))
NAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think these look a lot like nike 6.0 mavrks. The toe box and the sole look exactly like mavrks. If nike is making these 6.0 then it may finally make people pay attention to that branch of nike. If they just threw these on a blazer sole then it makes em kinda corny.
its a cool concept nobody wears hoop shoes casually unless its a blazer or air force 1 so i think its the best of both worlds
the navy blue shts are crazy!!!!!!!
IF JORDAN TOOK A **** INSIDE ANY SNEAKER AND IT RELEASED AT HOUSE OF HOOPS THIS WEEKEND YOU ALL WOULD BUY IT ...YOU FAKE *** SNEAKER HEADS.....STOP COMMENTING YOU DUMB HYPEBEAST YOU BUY AND WEAR ANYTHING AND CLAIM YOUR A SNEAKERHEAD....YOU GUYS ARE NOTHING BUT FOLLOWERS AND DONT KNOW **** ABOUT FASHION OR DESIGNING AND ILL **** YOU ALL UP COME HOLLA
