Following up on our Dwight Howard and Tim Duncan TS post, new pix of the upcoming Tracy McGrady Adidas Team Signature Lightspeeds have hit the Net. As mentioned previously, Adidas is planning to eliminate single athlete signatures from their basketball lineup and will instead, produce one sneaker with slightly different characteristics based on the athlete for whom they are intended. The Adidas TS series is scheduled to debut for the 2008 NBA season.

ugly
i might have to cop they look dope to hoop in and adidas always have made good hoop shoes going back to the nineties
they look allright in these colorway..the front sole of the shoe look like they were copied from the 2k5's
Doodoo trash!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aight, but I like how adidas was takin his designs b4 this team thang.
THEY LOOK STRAIGHT
this could prove to be a smart marketing/manufacturing move by adidas. with the elimination of the single athlete signature shoe, adidas will not have to be burdened by slow moving signature models like big man shoes (centers) which have historically been slow movers as opposed to guard shoes. in effect, adidas will most likely have a better profit/loss ratio when it comes to basketball shoes because there will technically be only one shoe produced for all. so the problem with slow moving signatures will be eliminated--the shoe will move no matter what due to the fact that 5 endorsers will be selling technically the same shoe. now design-wise is it a standout? no. but that's the team concept.
how can adidas take away t-mac's signature shoe, they are just a trash company, the have many good players such as t-mac, billups, zero..... but they just dont know how to use them to make money. that's why they will never beat nike... i am so dissapointed at them.
