New Pix of Sample Air Jordan Retro 1 "Alphas"
Feb 15, 2007 | Comments 28

New and more detailed pix of the Air Jordan Retro 1 "Alpha" recently hit the Net. Designed to commemorate MJs illustrious college career and his game winning shot to put UNC over Georgetown in the NCAA 1982 Champion Game, the Alpha 1s feature a University Blue/White Nubuck/Leather upper and a clear Blue Sole. Because these are early samples of the "Alpha 1s", the kix do not feature the picture of MJs game winning shot in the side panel as the Final Retail versions are scheduled to.
At this point, the Air Jordan Retro 1 "Alphas" have not hit the official Jordan Brand release calender. Once they do, they will be posted on KATCs continually updated [Jordan Brand Release Date List]

fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it would've looked better with the pic of jordan in it
hotter w/o the image on the side...
I think they should scrap the picture altogether. Shoes are an art itself, so why put a picture on it. It's like having a sculpture hold up a painting.
That color so soft and pretty
yea not feelin the picture too much. still hot tho
yo, theese alphas are lookin 10X better with out the pic on the side! but it really dont matter cuz ima cop 'em no matter wat!
MAN MUST GET EM LOOK WAY BETTA WITHOUT DA PICTURE ON DA SIDE
its aite...but im not impressed...
leave them as is...icey soles and classic check...make a commerative hologram card or some ****...don't ruin another one jb...i guess thats like askin a who#e to not cheat huh lol...
Ugh, the picture. guess i'll just grab the patent ones.
Look nice but the picture on the side is sometimg jordan brand has never done, too much of a risk.
Imma be honest my love for jordans is fading fast... but they do look better without the pic on them
Looks way better without the picture on the side.
these is fire!!!
Yes leave it as is JB no pic on the side........
Man is this a copy cat room or world one guy say's it looks better without the pic on the side and all start to agree. The whole point of the alpha & omega's was the nice pic on the side.
LOVE IT nice simple old skool feel now thats the way to take it back perfect.....
Glad they got rid of the pic. they would look too much like a bootleg. They do look clean.
Definately COPPED now.
Don't put that picture on, and I'll actually cop something from these guys.
Bof thats not the best colouray i saw, nice afterall!
sneakerfreaker... this has nothing to do with being "copycat," it has more to do with COMMON SENSE; which seems to not be so "COMMON" these days. Who cares "what the point" of it all is? Fact of the matter is these kicks are MUCH better looking WITHOUT a measly image of Jordan on the side. Can you say "easily faked?"
those first pics are beautiful! they should loose the image on the side. it flows soo well without it
Ironicly comment #23 hits the nail on the head...I liked the idea of including a post card to honor the shot with the sneakers...
super wack -- tons of shoes out there that are hot and they will be gettin' my dough not these super basic hot trash
there have been no jordan products that did this blue well.... its a wack color on most shoes. basic.... this shoe is a Geo in the world of Cadillacs. JB -- keep it in the garage while i rev the engines on some dunks or somethin'
the only reason i said to keep the pic was so that the shoe had at least more color variety...white and uni-blue is too plain. it doesnt need the pic, but at least keep the black in it
