In addition to paying homage to the cities (I-95) and the world locations (World Love Story) that helped the Nike Air Force 1 ascend into sneaker stardom, Nike will also pay homage to an icon whose game embodied and epitomized “force”, Charles Barkley through an Air Force 1 Series. The “Sir Charles” series of Air Force 1s will feature several pairs, between 8-12, of Air Force 1 Highs and Lows that all feature design characteristics from Barkley’s career including colorways of his uniforms dating back to his Highschool, college days at Auburn, and proffessional career, or, physical design characteristics from the Barkley line of Force sneakers including a Nike Air Force 1 x Nike Air Force Max 180 hybrid and a Nike Air Force 1 x Nike CB34 hybrid (both pictured after the jump). At this point a release date for the Nike Air Force 1 Charles Barkley package has not been confirmed, but, the pack should hit retail later this year.
