New Pics of the Upcoming Joe Strummer Before Nike SB Dunk Low and the Embarco Nike SB Dunk Mid

Continuing their "Music" Series, Nike SB is set to release the "Joe Strummer Before" and "Joe Strummer After" Nike SB Dunk Lows as a tribute to the Clash frontman's guitar transformations. The "Joe Strummer Before" Nike SB Dunk Lows feature a Black/Brown/White colorway that is inspired by the original three colored "Sunburst" finish on his Fender Telecaster that he bought in 1975. After buying the tele, Strummer painted over the Sunburst finish with Black and Grey automobile paint. Over time, his Black and Grey finish deteriorated to re-expose the original Sunburst finish underneath. The "Joe Strummer Before" Nike SB Dunk Low is set to release in December.
In addition to the "Joe Strummer Before" Dunks, Nike is set to release the "Embarco" Nike SB Dunk Low Mid in tribute to San Francisco's legendary Embarcadero/Justin Herman Smith Plaza, the home of many a historical Skateboarding moment. The "Embarco" Nike SB Dunk Mid featurs a Brown/Red colorway inspired by the bricks at the Plaza. For more on "Embarco" click [HERE]
