Magic Johnson Converse Weapon Retro

 
Though Converse has reemerged on the professional Basketball scene behind Dwyane Wade and Elton Brand, their legacy styles still define the brand and are still as relevant today as they were decades ago. Besides the Chuck Taylor, the Converse Weapon defined a large piece of footwear during the Golden Era of Basketball. The sneaker united two of the greatest Basketball players of all time, vicious rivals, and polar opposites on the court, the yeoman Larry Bird and showtime Earvin "Magic" Johnson, under one brand and in one of the most memorable commercials in Basketball sneaker history.
 
Reviving the past of the Converse Weapon, Converse is set to retro both Magic Johnson and Larry Bird colorways. The Magic Johnson/Lakers colorway retro features the classic White/Gold/Purple upper found on the OG with an updated twist of added crushed velvet around the ankle collar.
 
The Magic Johnson/Lakers Converse Weapon is due later this Winter.
