In addition to re-releasing the [Magic Johnson Converse Weapon], Converse is also set to retro the Larry Bird Converse Weapon. A classic part of Converse's Weapon campaign back in the late 80's, the Larry Bird Converse Weapon represented the hard working rural player practicing on a hoop attached to a barn door. It also represented one of the best Basketball players of all time in Larry Bird.
The Larry Bird Converse Weapon Retro is due to release later this year.

why didn't they have an updated twist to this like the way they added crushed velvet around the ankle collar of the magic johnson/lakers colorway? just asking...
Its clear with this one that you can't bring everything retro back. These were wak as s... back when they dropped, back when they were released again around early 2000, and still now.
