For the Grand Finale to our KATCali Mini Shop Spotlight Series it is only right that we bring the series full circle with a local legend striving to create the same magic as it has in NYC, out West: Flight Club Los Angeles. After proving that a consignment shop could co-exist amongst the world's leading sneaker boutiques, garnering Dime Magazine's #1 Sneaker Spot in the Nation honors in the process, the Flight Club crew recently set out to claim the same position out West, opening a shop on LA's burgeoning Fairfax Ave. Like FCNY, FCLA is an 80/20 consignment shop, selling sneakers on behalf of collectors from around the world. In doing so, and in a very short amount of time, FCLA has amassed an impressive collection that, at this point, is only surpassed in quality by it's predecessor. On our trip out West, KATC visited FCLA to check out the new location in the FC Empire.

MaZe is the founder of KixandtheCity.com. He has been rocking fresh sneakers since his teenage years in the early 90's. Now, his collection tallies somewhere near 500 pairs and includes everything from GRs, to QSs, to TZs, to 1 of 1s, to PEs, to Friends and Familys, and anything, and everything in between. His favorite sneaker of all time is the Air Jordan VIII. Beyond loving the physical sneaker, MaZe loves the culture behind it.
