Already well known and respected across the Internet due to their widely distributed product updates, Proper, located in California's Long Beach area, is not only [apropersite], but also, a Proper Shop. With its large wooden wall of kix, Proper brings a wide assortment of kix to the LBC. In addition to the expected stock, Nike QS and limited, Reebok, Adidas, Vans, Converse and New Balance, Proper also stocks the classic favorite Asics, as well as, the new favorite Jordan Lifestyle. With a very minimal approach to design, a large bare floor, a large sneaker wall and a large mural wall, Proper keeps the focus on the product allowing the consumer to immerse themselves in a Great Wall of Sneakers. On our trip to So. Cal, we stopped in to visit Proper and get a glimpse into the Sneaker Culture in the LBC.

MaZe is the founder of KixandtheCity.com. He has been rocking fresh sneakers since his teenage years in the early 90's. I thought I was the only one who thought the customer service was whacked in there.I once had 3 bills in my pocket looking to pull something sweet.I was the only one in there and the gal and some dude talked the whole time at the counter didn't say one word to me.Needless to say I didn't buy anything,and being a long time resident of the LBC I can say Ill never buy here.Went to BlackMarket few doors down and dropped my money there,the dude at least talked to me and showed me stuff.Peace
