KATC Magic: Front and Center -- The Jordan Brand Booth at Magic

Situated only several feet from the main entrance, the Jordan Brand booth, perhaps due to it's inherent mystery and popular lure, was one of the more talked about booths at Magic.

The physical Jordan Brand booth at Magic was a large show in and of itself. From showcasing the Brand's lineage to showcasing their upcoming offerings, one needed only to stand outside of the booth to catch a good glimpse into Jordan's plans. KATC was invited into the booth and we were able to preview a lot of JB's upcoming offerings, but unfortunately, we could not take pictures inside the booth. Of note though, Magic is essentially an apparel show, therefore, JB was mostly showcasing their upcoming Lifestyle clothing. Clothing included stitched jackets, jeans, T-shirts, hoodys, bags, hats, and more. To accompany this Lifestyle clothing, JB also had a handful of their '07 Lifestyle kix including the Cool Grey Retro III (suede upper due in 2/07), a White/Blue/Yellow 9.5 low, and the previoulsy unseen Blue/White/Yellow/Green Retro III (suede upper due in 4/07).
Due to all of the recent changes, varied product offerings, and rumors, the floor at Magic was a buzz (at least among those who cared) about Jordan's future plans. From what we previewed, it is safe to say that JB will continue to bring out classic retros in new and perhaps controversial colorways, while also releasing a couple of OG classics to keep the purists satisfied.
