Air Jordan 2009

The Air Jordan 2009 officially releases on January 31st with a limited $230 colorway. With this release, the public will get their first look at the new Articulated Propulsion Technology, or, APT for short. The APT technology is a new technology developed for the Air Jordan 2009 to ensure that the wearer receives maximum bounce back when force is applied to the heel. In this video, Jason Mayden, the designer of the Air Jordan 2009, breaks down this complex technology and goes in depth into the midsole and outsole construction on the Air Jordan 2009.

APT- Artistic Piece of Trash. $230 get REAL JB.

  4. theArchitect says:

APT is just Shox midsole material in the heel with a slit in it. No more no less. I can detect "design speak" when I hear it because I majored in Architecture. I've heard all manners of design speak aka bs from classmates when they described their projects. I guarantee the Air Jordan 2010 -- or any other Nike for that matter -- won't have this so called "APT" technology.

*Design Speak -- Using big words to make something simple seem complex.
