KATC Feature: Nike Sportswear at 21 Mercer Street Launch Party

Last night Nike celebrated the grand opening of the global retail headquarters for the Nike Sportswear line of footwear and apparel. Located at 21 Mercer Street in NYC's SoHo district, the Nike Sportswear at 21 Mercer Street is the only retail shop in the world that will carry the entire line of Nike Sportswear products. 21 Mercer Street will also serve as the home of the Nike BeSpoke initiative, an elevated NIKEiD experience that allows the consumer to sit down and work with Nike designers to create their own sneaker from the sole up.
As part of this launch party, Nike shutdown Mercer Street to create a block party/tailgate party featuring the likes of Roger Federer, Serena Williams, Emeka Okafor, Smush Parker, Spike Lee, Travis McCoy, DJ Clark Kent, top NYC media, the world of Street Fashion, and many more.
Today is the official public grand opening of Nike Sportswear at 21 Mercer Street.
