*PART II* -- On April 7th 2008, NIKE held it's Beijing Innovation Summit at the NIKE World Headquarters in Beaverton, OR. The NIKE Beijing Innovation Summit served as the official unveiling of several upcoming products and technologies created for athletes participating in the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics.
As part of this Innovation Summit, Nike officially introduced its Flywire technology, a lightweight technology designed to provide athletes with increased support and strength at minimal weight. The Flywire technology will be built into several sneakers including the Nike Zoom Victory, the Nike Zoom Victory Spike, and the Nike Hyperdunk.
