Jordan Olympia United We Rise Detailed Look

 
Continuing our look at the Nike/Jordan Brand/Converse "United We Rise" Pack, we take a look at the "United We Rise" colorway of the Jason Mayden designed Jordan Olympia. The "United We Rise" Jordan Olympia will be worn by Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul during the opening round of the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics. Inspired by the Air Jordan X, the "United We Rise" Jordan Olympia features a White Patent Leather/Full Grain Leather upper, Navy piping, Red accents, and the "United We Rise" tribal pattern.
 
The "United We Rise" Jordan Olympia is set to release at the House of Hoops by Foot Locker in Harlem and select Nike accounts on 8/8/08.

In anticipation of Team Jordan athlete participation in the 2008 Summer Olympics, Jordan Brand
created the Jordan Olympia. The shoe showcases several design features to honor the legacies of
both Team Jordan and the Olympics, including the numbers on the outsole (-92-96-04-08), which pay
tribute to the years Team Jordan athletes have competed.
 
The Jordan Olympia will launch nationwide Saturday, August 9, 2008, with a suggested retail price of
$125. There will also be a special limited edition that will launch at select retailers Friday, August 8,
2008, with a suggested retail price of $135.

    Actually, no. People have been saying "Con-Fusion(s)" for a while now. ANYWAY -- These are pretty nice, just as nice as they were on CP's feet, during the USA Basketball event at Rockerfeller. I'll put white laces in mine though. Do I see clear striping on the soles? DELISH!
