Greg Oden Signs with Nike

Although his NBA destination is still up in the air, wherever Greg Oden ends up playing, he will be playing in Nike sneakers. Oden's deal with Nike, details of this deal were not revealed, was officially signed and completed late last week making him the first big name player in his class to sign a sneaker deal. On his blog, Oden wrote, "It's like a weight off my shoulders, and to be a part of the Nike family with all the tradition, it's like a dream. I just want a commercial with "Little Penny" maybe they can call it "Little Oden" I would love it." The other big name player in this year's draft, Kevin Durant, is reportedly still up for grabs.

maybe durant goes JB?? he and carmelo could carry on the line if in fact the jordan 23 is last one. paul with lead the guard oriented shoe for the line..not a bad call. i think durant can really do good with JB..just a thought. if you give durant his own shoe under the jordan umbrella i think it will be good!

PLUS, Tim Duncan, when he wore Foamposites as well as Kevin Garnett, did pretty well. They weren't on a huge Jordan tip, but they sold.
