The Air Jordan XXII, the newest addition to the most storied signature line in sneaker culture history, is scheduled to make its debut at retail in mid February. Although it is a bit early, new pix of the final retail Air Jordan XXII Box, and the accompanying Air Jordan XXII White/Varsity-Red Black, have hit the Net.

I think there growing on me too. If i got a pair i would only get the black ones. Can anybody tell me on the heel is that a window to see basically your heel.
The box design is nice I admit but I don't know. If I had to rate these shoes I'd give them a 6 out of 10. The Jordan brand needs Tinker back badly as their shoe designs have been uninspiring as of lately. And I mean mean seriously. XV-XIX?

These were never too "bad looking" of a shoe, considering I looked at them from a hooping stand point and the fact it's 2007 now. Too many people are putting the later pairs of J's up to retros, which we ALL will never stop loving... I think that's unfair. Now the Basketball Editions? ****!
Tinker designed Wade's third upcoming shoe and it's WWWWWIZZZZZZZZZZACK! So stop holding on to the past and using excuses such as [cries]We need Tinker back... waaaaaaaah![/cries]
The Jordan 17, 18 & 20 were the "best shoes" JB had after 14... to say otherwise, you'd be in denial. And the 16's weren't too bad either.
is that metal or plastic on the bottom?

from what i've read, tinker had a hand in the design of most of the air jordan shoe line--the only shoes he didn't have any influence over was the 1's and 2's--when he was still practicing his profession as an architect. he was directly responsible for the design of the 3's all the way to the 15's and was consulted on for the 16's to the 22's.
also from what i've read, he will be designing the "reportedly" last of the air jordan shoe line--the 23.
this in no way should be misinterpreted as an ultimate fact as i have only read about these things in some forums, magazines etc and i just wanted to share what i've read.
and imho, i like the look of the 22's and its box

i think they are very smooth . you just got to know how to the sneakers and stop complaing about how they are ugly face tinker is not coming back!
no eleven thats the color change that was supposed to be on the whole shoe but they just kept it to the heel when your foot gets hot it will change color
