When news of the “Defining Moments Package”, Jordan Brand’s first ever package, first hit the Net, rumors of a potential 3rd sneaker, a Converse Jordan sneaker, swirled. As a tribute to Michael’s days as a Tarheel at the University of North Carolina, the Converse Jordan was meant to signify where it all started, specifically with his game winning last second NCAA Championship winning shot. When the Defining Moments Package finally released, the rumored Converse Jordan was nowhere to be found, until now.
New pics of a Jordan Converse Pro Leather DMP Sample recently hit the Net. The Jordan Converse Pro Leathers feature a White Leather upper and Gold accents with a University Blue 23 and University Blue “Last Second Shot-Man” at the heel. The footbed and tongue also read “Converse Jordan Edition”.
Due to the fact that Nike owns both the Jordan Brand and Converse, a release like this is possible, but, these sneakers will most likely never hit retail.
