First introduced in 1976 as the Converse “Professional Leather”, Converse’s iconic Pro Leather 76 is dropping the leather from it’s upper in favor of Suede of a couple of limited Pro Leather Suede releases. As part of these releases, Converse recently released the Converse Pro Leather 76 Red Suede. The Pro Leather 76 Red Suede features a Red Suede upper with a White Suede Star/Chevron and a White leather heel tab. The upper sits on a Sail outsole. The Suede Pro leather series is also pre-treated for a more vintage look and feel.
The Converse Pro Leather 76 Suede series is available now in Japan and should make it’s way to the US soon.
