Confirmed More Air Jordan Packages in 2009

Over the weekend some info leaked onto the Net about the possibility of more packages from Jordan Brand in 2009. We can confirm that there are definitely PLANS to release several packs in 2009. After building with some of our retail partners, there is a planned package of 5s (two Vs in one package), a package of VIIs (two VIIs in one pacakge), and a Slam Dunk Package that will feature a II and a III. Colorways are still TBA on all three of those packages. In addition to these three packages, there are some unconfirmed packs that may include a Hall of Fame Package and a couple of 3 packages (two IIIs in one package).
The biggest gripes with the Countdown Packages were their price and the fact that one sneaker was clearly better than the other in several packs. Word has it that both sneakers in these upcoming packs should be favorable. As for a price, that's still TBA.
Of course anything can change at the drop of the dime so expect much more info in 2009.

pass on the two V's...the III's packages sound great...true blue?? and the hall of fame pack..if we get concords in that..count me in but i think jordan brand is OD'ing on the packages...we are still in a pretty bad financial market!
I think the 2's and 3's package might contain the white cement 3's with white/black/red 2's.
if these packages were $310. i see JB charing near 400 dollars for each of these.
as the hype just over builds over the 11/12 for this weekend. resellers are playing a dam joke on themselves by thinking these will sell like DMP's. LaWlz.
the game has been dead for a couple of years. Quality for a bit more.
I'm loving the idea, but I'm not paying more that $310 for these new packs. They're already raping our pockets in a recession as it is and I refuse to pay more. But I'm glad that these packs will have the same or better selections in them.
which genius thought if this; this should have been done at first/ those ugly *** xvii,xviii,xix,xx,x1,xx2. no one wants those but they would want a fresh pair of v/vi/iv/etc
they should have a pack that consists of two 11s in one pack. Space jam and Concord. That would be a way better pack than both the 11/12 of this weekend and the DMP

atleast they are still giving us packages..they gonna take of the true jordans heads..they know we hate fusions..those are for the kiddos.
I dont mind paying for good joints. The CDP's werent that over priced in my opinion. But what really fucked me off about the CDP's was the quality. If theyre gona charge higher prices, then they better step up their game with quality materials, and build quality to match.

I agree Nata, the 4's were of the worst quality I have ever witnessed in a Jordan, ever. They will have to do better, but some of this info seems very interesting

i dont like the two diffrent pairs of threes there not og's so whats the point in that they should do championship pack like all the shoes he wore when he won or mvp packs just not the same shoe
all i ask is that they drop the white and red 12's and the all black 13's with the yellow circle around the jumpman and the playoff 12's again. thats all i need again in my life.

What I'm really wishin for would have to be the spacejams and the cool grey 11's in 1 pack or black 6s and the chrome 8s but if JB is planing to raise the price the QUALITY must be on point because the 11s thaT jus droped look kinda fake
I would love the Cool grey 11's and the space jams would be the sickest pack ever and i would camp out all night with a tent,toothbrush,and washrag real TALK!!!!!!! 1.No more fusions...although we really cant do anything about that...JB is fusioning every Jordan so **** it.
2.Better quality material in shoes is a must!!!!
3.If Jb is going to have these so called double packs like the slam dunk pack...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont have some *** *** colors like barney purple or Patrick pink...Id hate that very much...make it an OG color...
4.Keep it simple...Jb has obviously tried to step up the game by bringing in these ugly wannabe retro shoes like the Jordan Q4...garbage...
5.Try to make it somewhat exclusive...theres no point in making these pack a general release cause everyone will have them...and I hate having something that alot of people have.
