very curious to see if the attitude or the shoe came first. like most of us, i expect more from these guys. i wonder if they got overruled on this shoe, which often happens to designers. they want one thing and company politics and cutbacks dictate another. curious indeed.

Excellent point regarding the price. Nowadays the pricing of shoes is just unreasonable. However, the colorway is lovely. I like plain and clean kicks like these because they have that "grown up" appeal. Overall, these are a must have based on the fact that these shoes can go down very well with a descent outfit.

So, from what I can tell, tumbled leather alone makes this a Premium AF1. That's just not enough to justify an extra $60 over a regular AF1 -- not to mention the colorway is too plain.

Yes the Grand Opening event is this weekend, the store actually opened up LAST weekend (friday) inbetween a Foot Locker (which it's attached to) and the gigantic Foot Action. They told me they couldn't have the Grand Opening event on their actual opening weekend because the Mavs players were on a road trip.

FYI they also told me that Dallas-proper (Mesquite is a suburb) will be getting a HoH in February at probably the nicest mall in the area, Northpark Center.

I think it's a totally bs, looks ugly & cheap specially with that side clear plastic windows, nothing new and its not new technology, outsole so thin that's not gonna be durable & last long. Like someone mentioned before, they seems making things up, design is nothing special with no meaning, that's just the worse jordan ever made.

As far as I know these will be a GR. I love how they used a different color of flywire for half so only the white flywire shows up. Makes these look so smooth. I can't tell if they are white patent leather or not. I would rather them not be patent but oh well if they are. Still coppin no matter what

Saw them today in person and I am copping...... looking at those pics it seems like the 1st retro was better quality than the OG..LOL... I don't care what anyone says, I am buying these POINT BLANK and trust I will be buying the red/wht XIIs as well (one of my grails) The only thing I don't like that I noticed today when I saw the Flu Games was the fact the the 23 on the back was red instead of black... I'm cool with everything else. November 24th here I come....... IF YOU DON'T LIKE, DON'T BUY... that's all. Being from the ol' school I must say, it is rare to find a retro that has the same materials...WHY???? I think KNOWLEDGE hit on it (business philosophy - minimize cost, maximize profit) but we are NOT and I repeat NEVER gonna get the same prices.. we are in a whole different economy now..... No Disrespect KNOWLEDGE, but I CAN'T AGREE WITH YOUR COMMENT - $125 for a pair of Js back then was a lot of pesos.... I remember getting my rd/wht XIIs on a sales rack at Modells for $75... and that was hurtin' me. I copped but those prices set a brother back...LOL.. I don't think I'll see these Js on any sales racks this time around... LOL.. these are not the 09s..LOLOLOLOLOL..... Blah Blah..so it can fit better? Just tie your laces tight that'll take care of that! Couldve designed it better..the window shoulve been on the toungue of the shoe on on the side like a huge peep hole...the bottom sole is sooo plain with no colors..they took no time designing these at all and they are running out of ideas. Everyone should not buy any new jordans untill they lower their prices. 170 dollars for a pair of shoes? Thats ridiculous, i bet to make one of those pairs of shoes it cost JB 70 bucks. That means that they're making a 100 dollar profit on a ****** shoe. That shouldn't happen.
