The Air Jordan 2009 officially releases on January 31st with a limited $230 colorway. With this release, the public will get their first look at the new Articulated Propulsion Technology, or, APT for short. The APT technology is a new technology developed for the Air Jordan 2009 to ensure that the wearer receives maximum bounce back when force is placed to the heel. In this video, Jason Mayden, the designer of the Air Jordan 2009, breaks down this complex technology and goes in depth into the midsole and outsole construction on the Air Jordan 2009.
