With the NBA All Star game taking place in NYC in a little over a month, adidas is starting their NYC tribute off with the adidas “Broadway Express” collection. The collection features an adidas D Rose 5 Boost, an adidas Crazy 8, and an adidas Crazy 2 that are each inspired by the NYC Subway system and feature Metallic Silver uppers with Black and Yellow accents. Adding to the Nike LeBron 12 “23 Chromosomes”, Nike has another LeBron 12 on deck for January with the Nike LeBron 12 “Court Vision”. Going back to the Black and Red palette that had come to define the initial launch colorway of LeBron’s signature sneaker line up until this year, the “Court Vision” Nike LeBron 12 features a mix of Black, Bright Crimson, and White throughout. Release date is set for 1/31.
The first Nike LeBron 12 sneaker release of 2015, the Nike LeBron 12 “23 Chromosomes” has a release date and that release date is set for 1/17/15. The sneaker will be available at select Nike retailers including Nike.com at a retail price of $200.
Before we get to the Nike Kobe X, Nike has a couple of Kobe 9 sneakers in the pipeline which include the Kobe 9 Elite “What the Kobe” and the Kobe 9 EM “Silk”. The “Silk” Kobe 9 is inspired by Kobe Bryant’s effect on the global game of Basketball and features silk-like upper done with graphics that link back to several cultures around the world. The pattern features oriental colors that are inspired by the Dunhuang murals and they are interspersed with the main serpentine pattern which represents Kobe’s footprints all over the world. As it stands now, the release date is set for 1/1 at select Nike retailers including Nike.com.
