The Nike Basketball Elite Collection 2.0 officially makes its debut this Saturday, 4/20, with a trio of super premium performance elevated pieces for LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Kobe Bryant in the form of the Nike LeBron X PS Elite, the Nike KD V PS Elite, and the Nike Kobe 8 PS Elite. KATC Video Feature: Robbie Fuller Breaks Down the adidas Crazyquick

adidas officially unveiled their newest performance Basketball sneaker, the adidas Crazyquick, yesterday in New York City. The adidas Crazyquick represents a new direction for the adidas Hoops line. While the sneaker is clearly inspired by many of adidas’ recent releases, including the adidas Crazy Light, the sneaker places a heavier emphasis on “quickness” while maintaining its light weight. The adidas Crazyquick combines some of the learning from the Crazy Light while adding all new performance features that include adidas TechFit on the upper and a fully decoupled and articulated outsole. In this video feature, adidas’ Robbie Fuller breaks down the adidas Crazyquick from both a technological and aesthetic perspective. Check the video out below.

adidas Innovation Day and BOOST Unveil Event Recap

adidas officially unveiled their new BOOST technology in NYC today in front of a packed house of global media as part of their Innovation Day event. The adidas BOOST technology, which we will cover more extensively in another post, is adidas’ new foam compound that is designed to outperform EVA foam, the most widely used foam compound across sneakers. BOOST was designed to provide better bounce and a more positive energy return to the wearer. The BOOST unveil and massive presentation, brought out Erich Stamminger, adidas Group President of Brands, Eric Liedtke, adidas Head of Sport Performance, and James Carnes, adidas Creative Director for Sport Performance as well as running legends Yohan Blake and Haile Gebrselassie.
