The Nike Hyperdunk was designed for the ultimate Basketball player and according to Nike, that player is Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant is a two guard, a fast, slashing, driving, stop on a dime and pop player. The Nike Hyperdunk was designed for this type of play.At the Olympics though, Team USA's big men Carlos Boozer and Chris Bosh will be wearing the Nike Hyperdunk as well. In contrast to Kobe's game, CB and C Booz play a physical and forcefull game, dominating the paint with their backs to the basket.In this feature, KATC sits down with Chris Bosh and Carlos Boozer to find out how the Nike Hyperdunk suits the big man's game.

Yesterday, on the eve of the "McFly" Nike Hyperdunk release, MaZe and KATC traveled to the House of Hoops by Foot Locker in Harlem to check out the scene. While there, MaZe spoke to, CJ, the first person in line, as well as, took a look at the rest of the line, and of course, the "McFly" Nike Hyperdunk.

After pre-releasing last month, the DJ Clark Kent designed Nike 112 Pack is officially set to release tomorrow, July 12, at Nike Urban Edge accounts. The 112 pack features three styles an Air Force 1 Low, an Air Trainer 1, and an Air Max 1. Each of the sneakers features a 3M, Neon, and Elephant print upper as designed by DJCK.
 
On the eve of this release, MaZe caught up with DJ Clark Kent to speak about the 112 Pack from the pack's beginning to tomorrow's release, as well as, DJCK's plans for the future.

After an eye opening, record breaking, MVP candidate junior 2007/2008 NBA season, Chris Paul is ready to help lead team USA on the path to the Gold Medal in Beijing. A couple of weeks back, Nike and USA Basketball held an event in NYC to officially introduce Team USA to the world. While at this event, MaZe and the Sneaker Sensei Jay Corbin caught up with CP to talk about the Jordan Olympia, his favorite Air Jordan, the Jordan CP, Michael Jordan himself, the upcoming Jordan CP2, and more.

Uncle Ralph McDaniels is the original. Twenty five years ago Uncle Ralph McDaniels created the first ever urban music video program, Video Music Box. Video Music Box spawned the urban video music programming that we all take for granted today. If it were not for Video Music Box, programs like Yo MTV Raps, the Basement, 106 and Park, etc. may have never existed.
 
2008 marks the 25th Anniversary of Video Music Box. In celebration of the 25th anniversary, Uncle Ralph has planned 25 Video Music Box events, with the first taking place last weekend in Harlem NYC. At this kick-off event, DJ Clark Kent presented Uncle Ralph McDaniels with a gift, the "Video Music Box 25th Anniversary" Nike Air Force 1 Low.

On June 14th 2008, KixandtheCity.com and Adidas invaded the legendary Moe's Sneaker Spot in Jamaica Queens, New York to help celebrate the release of the Moe's Sneaker Spot x Adidas Top Ten 2000. As part of this celebration, MaZe was on hand to talk to the crowd while the KixantheCity.com team held auditions for the July episode of the KATC StockRoom. Queens came out in full force to support Moe's.
 
The KATC StockRoom auditions were very competitive. Auditions included R&B singing, freestyle rapping, some nervousness, a lot of shameless plugs, and some even went as far as to write their own scripts before they went on. The crowd loved it. The person(s) with the best audition will appear in the upcoming KATC StockRoom.
