ACU x Adidas ZX800 from the Adidas aZx Series

ACU, more commonly known as CLOT, selected the Adidas ZX800 for their part as the letter "A" in the Adidas aZx series. For their spin on the ZX800, ACU selected traditional Chinese colors and materials with the sneakers' Red Suede upper/Red Silk upper, Gold Three Stripes, and Black accents. The ACU logo is subtly embossed across the body and tongue. Diving deeper into the minute components of the sneaker, ACU also removed the reflective piece at the forefoot in favor of a of lenticular imagery that displays the logo as well.

Adidas ZX800 x Foot Patrol from the Adidas aZx Series

To pay homage to their classic ZX line, Adidas created the aZx series, a series of ZX sneakers designed by several hand picked premier sneaker shops from across the globe. Each of the collaborators within the aZx series were charged with designing their favorite ZX style however they saw fit. Each of the collaborators within the aZx series represents a letter in the alphabet including the Rivington Club (R), Major DC (M), Wood Wood (W), Limited Editions (L), Foot Patrol (F), and many more. For their part in the aZx project, London's Foot Patrol selected the Adidas ZX800. Applying their now trademark colorway that they have skillfully reinterpreted on several over the collabs, the "Foot Patrol" Adidas ZX800 features a Light Blue upper with Purple and Yellow accents. Nike Sportswear Dunk High Red White and Black Quilted Patent Olympic Pack

In addition to the [Nike Sportwear Dunk High Seamleass Octagon Pack], Nike Sportswear also recently released the "Quilted Patent Olympic" Dunk High Pack as well. Each of the sneakers within the pack feature a completely patent upper with a quilted stitch in the mid panel, toe box, and ankle.

Nike Air Max 90 Current Hitomi Yokoyama Detailed Look

In addition to the "Kevin Lyons" Nike Air Max 90 Current that we posted yesterday, Nike also recently released the "Hitomi Yokoyama" Nike Air Max 90 Current as part of their Air Max 90 Current Artist series. The "Yokoyama" Nike Air Max 90 Current features a tonal Grey upper of Mesh and Suede with Purple accents on the Swoosh and Tongue tab. Like the "Kevin Lyons", the "Yokoyama" Nike Air Max 90 Current features artwork on the tongue tab and on the ankle liner.

Nike Sportswear Air Max 90 Current x Kevin Lyons Mandarin Detailed Look

Following up on their Air Max 90 Current intro colorway, the legendary "Infrared" colorway, Nike Sportswear recently released a pack of Nike Air Max 90 Current kix in collaboration with Kevin Lyons. As part of this pack, Nike Sportswear released a Mandarin/White colorway of the Nike Sportswear Air Max 90 that features a Mandarin mesh toe/tongue, a Mandarin Suede quarter, a White leather mud guard and Swoosh, and a Grey mesh ankle. Kevin Lyon's artwork pops up on the tongue and on the ankle liner.

Nike Air Max 1 Medal Pack

Continuing our look at Nike's Olympic inspired kix, we take a look at the Nike Air Max 1 "Medal Pack". A mainstay in Nike's Olympic kix, the Medal Pack for 2008 features three different pairs of Air Max 1s that each feature a Swoosh and outsole inspired by one of the illustrious Olympic medals. The "Gold Medal" Nike Air Max 1 features a premium Black leather upper, a Gold Swoosh, and a Gold outsole. The "Silver Medal" Nike Air Max 1 features a Brown leather upper, a Silver Swoosh, and a Silver outsole. The "Bronze Medal" Nike Air Max 1 features a Cream colored upper, a Bronze Swoosh, and a Bronze outsole.

Nike Sportswear Seamless Dunk High Octagon Olympic Pack Detailed Look

The Olympics officially kick of in three days, and with it, expect a large amount of Olympic themed releases from Nike/Nike Sportswear. As part of this Olympic kick-off Nike Sportswear is set to release the Seamless Dunk High Octagon Pack at Nike Tier Zero accounts. The Nike Sportswear Seamless Dunk High Octagon Pack features 5 Dunk Highs that each feature a cotton seamless upper. This cotton seamless upper features a collage of multi-colored micro octagons that come together to create the lines of the Dunk high. The 5 colorways include Black/Red, Blue/Red, Yellow/Green, Yellow/Black, and Blue/Black.

Nike Dunk High WMNS Octagon

In addition to the "Octagon" Nike Dunk High previewed in the [KATC StockRoom: August 2008], Nike recently released a WMNS version as well. Like the entire "Octagon" series, the "Octagon" WMNS Nike Dunk High features an octagon pattern on the upper that symbolizes the 8/8/08 launch of the Beijing Summer Olympics. The "Octagon" WMNS Nike Dunk High features a Black leather upper with Black Ripstop in the mid panel, a Nylon tongue, and a White heel with the multi colored Octagon pattern.
